Hummingbird

This is our local hummingbird. He guards the feeder quite closely. No extra birds allowed even though there is room for four. Its his and his alone.

Mom Date

Diane and I went on a "Mom Date", as quoted by Scott. We did a dinner and movie...dinner at Swiss Chalet and movie"Made of Honor." I sensed Diane was somewhat nervous with my driving and the cars above, I think, illustrate the type of car she might have felt she was in. Sorry I made her so uncomfortable but we did have a great evening.

Brenna comes home for the summer

Today was moving home day for Brenna. I drove up in the morning and we were on the road home by 2:30 with a truck load....now it wasn't as much as when we took her up, but we left some things in storage at the university. On the way up I saw 2 deer but on the way back, Brenna and I saw this....good thing our new fencing is up or else we might have been close and and personal.

It is that time of year again...flooding!!!! On our way home we drove by the home of a friend of Brenna's......as she said her friend is living on an island.

Brenna remembers in high school when her friend would row a canoe from the house to the street to catch the bus...and then row back home at the end of the day.
