Garden Name

It was suggested by Longwood that the garden be named. I will add more as they come in. With less than 1 month to go, I need suggestions....don't forget to vote!

Rainy week (first week of vacation)

Apparently it has been rainy here all week. I returned Wednesday and it rained ALLLLLL day Thursday and Friday. We had some "awesome thunder" on Thursday. It has been really hard on the flowers and I now need a cow for the yard, the grass is soooooo long. Today(saturday) the sun has finally come out in the afternoon. (My first video posting on the blog...for someone with very basic computer knowledge...I'm quite proud of myself)

Alan and Andree's 25th

On July 23rd, Helenas son and wife celebrated their 25th. We had a BBQ and their children had a surprise cake for them.

Even 25 years later they cut the cake and smudged it on each others faces.

Katies Baby Shower

The family had planned a baby shower for Helenas grand-daughter on July 20th, so we went ahead and had a co-ed shower. It was graet to have family together at this time.

Time to Update

It has been a busy few weeks. Paul has spent a fair amount of time up river over the last 2 months. Brenna wasn't home one weekend in June, camping in Sussex, weekends on the Miramichi with the BF and socalizing with friends. All of that caught up with her: she missed a day and a half from work this week because of her 3rd bout with strep throat since last October. Emma has been doing 2 jobs and the end of June finished a coarse at the university, classes 2 nights a week, so between that and Jack time she hasn't been here much. The July 1st weekend we celebrated my parents 50th anniversity. Everyone was home and we had a great visit.

The complete family.

The 5 children.

The anniversary couple.

The girls and their 4 year old cousin.

Rest after a friendly game of rugby.
