Another Day Snowshoeing at Rockwood Park

Thankfully Paul, my navigator, has no trouble reading a map. This is a marked trail but had not been used for awhile. Along the trail there were pink markers in the trees. Before.....

Preparing the ice for pond hockey next weekend.

Apparently one of the tractors went through the ice later in the day.

Today, we went snowshoeing at Rockwood Park for the first time. They keep the walking trails plowed for the sleigh rides. We walked these trails for a distance, then went off into the woods and then back onto the groomed trails. We were there a couple of hours.

They have feeders set up at different places in the park.

Lots of ducks on the lake. People feed them on a daily basis.

We had a great time.

Cold Winter Day.....Warm Beef Stew

After an afternoon of snowshoeing, Paul and I had homemade beef stew, homemade biscuits and a nice glass of wine for supper.

Now all we need is a 3 day, rather than a 2 day, weekend.

Christmas Gift

I received a Kindle 3 and cover for christmas.

I just finished my first book "The Fallen Giant" by Ken Follett.

I am really enjoying my kindle, just downloaded my second book!!!!

Today I completed and ordered a photobook online. It was a free book to say thanks for an earlier order.

Hats for Work

Since early January, I have been busy making hats for co-workers and one of the doctors.

I have also taken the time to make a couple for myself.

Back to Snowshoeing

One evening, last week, Paul and I went to our local golf course snowshoeing.

This weekend I was out both Saturday and Sunday. The weather and snow are great.

I went out this afternoon as well....have to take advantage of the snow....we are suppose to get rain on Wednesday.
