Red Cardinal

Three of us have continued to paint once a week this summer.

We completed the cardinal this past week. 

Originally he was sitting on one branch, but we knew the painting needed more.

My addition were extra branches and red berries.

This lady is an aunt to my brother-in-law who lives in Australia.

What a remarkable woman.

New Barn and Shelter for Wood

 They started on Monday and by days end this was completed.

 Day 2 they completed doors and siding.

Today they completed the Firewood Shelter minus the tin roof. It has been ordered and will be here in a weeks time.

Now we have to paint the door and organize barn and garage.

Oh and we have 3 cord of wood arriving next week.

Always LOTS to do.

We probably would have already been to work by the time this happened (we are on vacation) but what a way to start your day!

 We had 2 impressive storms on two different evening. very high winds, HEAVY rain, and hail.
