A Large Day
Peter and family visited yesterday and even brought supper.....what a treat.
We spent the afternoon in the pool and had supper on the deck, potatoes on the BBQ, pork chops, green salad, string beans.
Dessert was a choice of whoopy pies, chocolate chip cookies or blueberry pie......Yummy!
We had a fire in the evening.....roasted marshmallows and ate "Smores."
We had some sparklers from ages ago and the boys had fun running around the yard.

Hummingbird Food Fest
It's not a great video, but you get the idea.
This feeder is in my front window.
I patiently wait with my camera but usually they don't come to the feeder.
This evening I was able to get a video.
We have at least 4 birds and this past week they emptied 3 of my 4 feeders.
Guess what we did today?
Our wood arrived last evening.
Empty.
Lunch Time.
Finished.
Four cord of wood, nicely packed into its new home.
Backyard Fireplace Channel
The other night Paul and I had a fire in the backyard.
I decided to take a video and when I replayed it I thought of the fireplace channel on TV. :-)

Old Made New Again
Before.
Our deck furniture mesh seats were in need of repair.
Paul took the chair apart for me so I could have the old mesh seat as a pattern.
Off to Fabricville we went and yesterday I made two.
After.
Like new, now two more to go!

Kayaking on the Nerepis
This is my camera with it's own little lifejacket......I can still find it if it goes overboard.
Last evening Paul and I went kayaking on the Nerepis.
It is less than a 10 min. drive up the road.
Our neighbours and friends were very generous to let us borrow their kayaks.
It was a beautiful, warm, calm evening.
Paul had bought me an "Olympus Tough" camera for christmas.
You can get it wet, use it under water....great for last evening.
It takes great pictures, does video and is small and compact.
We had a wonderful evening. Thanks Gerry and Diane.
