Yesterday I was standing in line waiting to cash out.
This lady and her daughter were standing behind me.
I noticed they were both wearing the same snowman pin and I asked where they had gotten them.
The lady proceeded to reach into her pocket, pull one out and give it to me.
I was quite surprised but very pleased. She paints them and gets the cutouts from a company in Ontario.
She said she carries them around in her pocket and hands them out to people.
I repeatedly thanked her, we exchanged Merry Christmas and off we went in our own directions.
In the hustle of the christmas season, long lines at the cash, no parking available, irritated shoppers, that made my day.....something so simple yet so kind.
