Christmas 2015

 Mom and I Christmas Eve..... a little Baileys and Eggnog.

Christmas morning. Mom spent the night with us.

 Margie visited with us on Christmas morning and spent the afternoon with Mom and Dad.

Then Mom joined us for Christmas dinner and spent the night again.

 Brenna was going to go home on the 27th but with the storm coming she left on the 26th......we had a great visit.

Anne and Sanj arrived on the 27th and the next day we spent with Mom and dad. We all had lunch at Moms place (dad was not feeling well), so we went over after lunch and spent part of the afternoon with him.

We all went over to Peters for supper and the evening.

What a wonderful day.

Afternoon Christmas Tea

This afternoon I had tea with friends and fellow painters.

Needle Felting Projects

This is my newest hobby.....needle felting.

It is done with roving and a needle.

The pictures were given as gifts and are 5X7 in size.

The acorns are actual acorn tops with the felted balls glued to the tops.

Orthopaedic Christmas Party

Last evening was the annual dinner and dance at Riverside sponsored by the orthopaedic surgeons.

This would be the 20th year.

Visit to Rockwood Park on Sunday

 Paul and I were back in our old haunts in the north end

and stopped at dairy Queen for ice cream.....they had no chocolate :-)

Moms Room for Christmas

Her christmas Welcome!

 We ourchased her a desk and chair and were able to finally situate her bookcase 

and put up her spoon rack and family picture. 

She received a lift chair 2 weeks ago and has been known on occassion to fall asleep in it.

Cocktails and Painting

 Last evening Diane and I had a girls night out.

We had cocktails and painted a picture of northern lights and snow laiden evergreens.

My painting....I have had an offer to buy the painting!
