Playing in the Leaves

This afternoon the boys were playing in the leaves and Charles was climbing the mountain ash.

 

Brennas New Home

  

Paul and I loaded the truck in the pouring rain on Thursday and drove up on Friday.

The tamaracks were a beautiful mustard yellow color and are quite abundant from Fredericton to the Miramichi.

  First meal in home eating at Opa and Omas table....ordered in chinese.

Brenna has a nice little starter home and she is quite excited because it has a 18 foot pool in the backyard.

Margie and I spent the whole day trying to get Moms room organized.

We made progress but still have a number of things to do.

It is looking much better than yesterday....more like a lived in room.

Moving Day for Mom

The drive up this morning was beautiful, cold but beautiful.

Then as the day went on it got colder, rained and snowed.

On the return trip, the ground from Florencville to Woodstock was snow covered. 

When we left at 4;00pm it was 2 degrees. When we arrived back here it was 6 degrees with lightning and rain.

We filled this 26 foot truck.

Tomorrow we unload it.

Fall Colors

I took theses as Paul was driving to Moncton today.

 The colors were quite striking, both on the drive to Grand Falls and Moncton, but there is still alot of green leaves.

Farwell Breakfast Following Mass on Sunday at St. Patricks

I went up to Grand Falls for Sunday to be with Mom. The parish, where Mom has been her whole life, had a farwell breakfast after mass for her.

She did not know I was coming.

We had a great morning and then went down to Louis and Carmens for supper.

Fr. Mikes 50th Anniversary

Spent the day, Monday, in Moncton celebrating Fr. Mikes 50th.

We had mass in the morning and a lovely sit down meal afterwards.

Saw a number of people: Jane and Eric, Sr. Margaret Toner, Fr, Bill Brennan, Marie Godbout, Caroline Rideout, all of Ambroses clan, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Toner and their daughter Barb.

It was nice to get together for a happy occassion.

Let winter come....we are ready!

Mama's snowblower for the deck

Papas new snowblower for the yard.

After 34 years we said farwell to our one and only snowblower.

It served us well and hopefully will serve the new owners as well.

Cherry Brook Zoo - Oct. 4th.

  After the zoo we went to Rockwood park for fun in the playground and a visit with the ducks.
