Fall fruits and vegetables = yummy foods.
Mom was here for the afternoon and supper.
With some of the apples from the orchard we made an apple crumble and apple sauce, both of which we had for supper.
Then we cut up cucumbers for Lady Ashburn pickles.
They will sit overnight and then tomorrow I add the other ingredients and bottle the pickles.

Today at the Splash Pad
For late September the day was absolutely beautiful.
It was warm picking apples, so what better way to cool off.

More of Martin Head Trip
Look what we found in the woods.....toilet paper too!
Signage along the way. It is its own little roadway out there.
What is 4 Wheeling Without Water?
On the way back, Jack insisted that we all drive through the water....apparently a tradition.
This is me.
Notice my feet are high and dry.

4 Wheeling from Sussex to Martin Head
Yesterday we met with Margie and Jack in Sussex and spent the afternoon 4 wheeling.
We started out with 3 machines. The guys were on Jacks 2 machines and Margie and I were in the side by side.
Not far into the trip they had to trailer the side by side back to the house.
We borrowed Jacks nephews machine.
Margie and I rode together.

We walked over to Martin Head.
A view from the top of Martin Head. Normally you can see NS but it was foggy.
