Ennis Sisters at Imperial Theatre

Last evening Mom and I went to see the Ennis Sisters at the Imperial.
What an entertaining show, great start to Christmas season.

Weekend in Halifax

Spent last weekend in Halifax.
Went to Mahone Bay on Saturday. It was a beautiful day with 7 degree temperatures.
We had lunch at Rebeccas, just up from the 3 sisters as you enter Mahone Bay.
On our way out you could roast marshmallows, so Mom and I each had one.

That evening we had a lovely staek dinner with roasted potatoes, green beans and carrots.
Jack had also made a chocolate cake with boiled icing in honor of Pauls birthday.
Margie set the  table with Moms silverware and crystal.

Meet Trixie, their 4 month old labrodoodle.

Boys Riding Bikes

The boys enjoyed their bikes this weekend.
William tried his bike with no training wheels and off he went.
His bike was TOO small, so we found a "like new', bike online.

Kitchen Reno

 BEFORE

AFTER

We had our kitchen renovated this July/August.
We hired a wonderful contractor who co-ordinated everything for us.
Avondale Kitchens out of Woodstock did the cupboards ( disregard the green tape on some of the cupboards as there are still deficiencies to address)
Local trades did our plumbing, electrical and carpenter work.
We did as much as we could on our own....demolition, painting, cleanup.
Over all it went very smoothly but largely due to our outstanding contractor.
