Recycled Sweaters





These pumpkins I made from old sweaters I had collected to make the sweater mittens.

New sculptures placed locally on Sunday






These 2 sculptures were commissioned by James Boyd from Hampton.

James Boyd is from Hampton, New Brunswick, Canada. Born in Saint John in 1963, he has a BFA with a Major in Sculpture from NSCAD (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design) in Halifax, Canada, and a BEd from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada. Jim has been involved in several international sculpture symposia, including the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium in 2011, Sculpture Saint John 2012 and 2014 and in Istanbul, Turkey in 2013. Jim’s sculptures “Nature’s Grace” in Eastport, Maine, “Waterstone” in St. George, and “Peacewing” in Hampton, New Brunswick are all part of the Canada/ US International Sculpture Trail.

Two weekends ago Moms sister, Ruth and he husband came to visit for a few days.
Margie came up from Halifax and we all gathered here on saturday.
Peter and his family joined us as well.

Boys Riding Bikes





The boys enjoyed their bikes this weekend.
William tried his bike with no training wheels and off he went.
His bike was TOO small, so we found a "like new', bike online.
