Brenna Home for Weekend

Brenna was home for a 4 day weekend.
She had a movie night with the boys.

She asked me to make her a pair of mittens. She picked the combination and buttons.

Latest Sweater Up Cycle project

My latest up cycle project is a hat to match the mittens made from wool sweaters.

Ridiculios Amount of Snow

These pictures were taken from the front door. The snow banks at the end of the front lawn are so high that Emma can touch the birch trees at the front and as you can see, you can barely see the top of Paul's head beyond the snow banks.

Latest Paintings

Found some time to do a little painting.
This painting is going to my office partner. She is starting a new job at St. Joes and I am going to really miss her. She likes to kayak and her kayak is yellow!
This was just a fun painting. I had textured the canvas with gel medium some time ago.

Snow Shoeing at Rockwood Park on my B-day

We had to cut the trail after the snowfall from the day before.

Looking at the house from the court.

Notice how high the snow banks are in relation to the truck.

Spring Can't Come Soon Enough.

Back of house. Paul cleaned out around the windows today.

View from deck of back of house.

 Coming off the back steps.

View from deck.....can't see the barn from the deck.
I was out shoveling the deck this morning. The banks are higher than the deck.

The obelisk stands about 5 feet and now there is only about a foot showing.

William was out enjoying the beautiful day.

 Back windows of the garage.

Looking from the barn to the pool and deck.

The driveway is narrow at the bottom.

Looking at the garage from the deck.

With the deck shoveled the warm sun is melting the snow and ice.
