We are looking across what use to be a potato field and on the horizon is where the Lorne AirForce Base use to be in the states.

I remember growing up there, sitting at the kitchen table, watching planes take off and land.

Back Yard Garden

The garden has done well despite my lack of attention to it.

Pool Time

 Peter and family have been here a couple of times to enjoy the pool. Isaac and Sasha had swimming lessons this summer and took full advantage to practice their strokes.

Charles and William have become quite comfortable in the pool  and we have all enjoyed the pool tremendously during this August warm weather.

New pool addition

Paul has been working to extend the deck, in order to install a pool reel for the solar blanket.

Yesterday that project was completed.

What a great addition.

What a wonderful place to spend the summer.
