I had the cast removed on Wednesday. All is healed. I am in a walking boot now and over time will gradually increase the weight I put on the broken foot. I am not quite 100% but probably close to 85-90%. I carefully got into the pool today for the first time in 8 weeks. It felt great.

Newest Paintings
With my broken foot I am exiled to the house....no outdoor work. Therefore I am enjoying some long missed painting time.
The above picture is my version of one of my clematis plants in my back yard.
This painting I call `Sailing`. I followed a painter online out of England. Again another style of painting.

Pebble Art
When we visited Dave and Nancy in NS we walked a beach and everyone helped me collect rocks.
Once home I did these pictures. Dave and nancy stopped in on their way to Bangor and dave liked this one so I gave it to him.
I had made the above one for them, as we walked the beach whilein Liscombe.

He did his paintings on TV.

He had some great, easy tips.
This reflects the tulip Festival from Ottawa. Theses are some of the tulips I saw in the many beautiful tulips beds.
Peg Leg
The cast has now been on for 1 week and I have been non weight bearing for 3 weeks....5 more to go.
This apparatus is called an IWalk and it has given me my mobility and independence back. I can do stairs with it but I need assistance if walking on uneven ground.
Just call me Peg Leg.
