Today I was home alone and spent the morning gardening. The plants are so wet that some of them are lying on the ground. It has rained off and on this afternoon; at this rate we'll have to rent a cow to graze on the foot long grass. This afternoon I decided to do some baking. I was talking to Mary this morning and she talked of her baking adventures, so it put me in the mood to bake. I just finished these cookies and thought I'd share the recipe. I baked a pie shell as well and will be making one of Brenna's favorite pies.....butterscotch.
