Fall is close at Hand
A bird, "The Common Nighthawk", was out in full force this evening. Paul and I were having supper out on the deck and I counted at least 12 of them flying around the neighbourhood. August is when we usually see them. I was first introduced to them by Mr. and Mrs. Longwwod, over the hill.

Guess What I Did Yesterday????
Yesterday I went Whale Watching off of Grand Manan with some girls from work.

Putting the Yard Back Together
Finished the deck on Saturday. We reused everything we had, except we did new decking....and only on the original deck. The deck around the pool is still in good shape.
The rock walk in the back yard is reassembled and the bed is ready for planting.
I will be planting perennials onmce the weather cools down.
In the front bed we had left the two hostas but they were OVERGROWN!
We removed them and I did salvage a piece and replant it between the two windows.
I plan to continue the perennial bed that is along the front of the house.
