I arrived home today to see these beauties in my back yard......spring is here. I have seen robins and I hear the cardinals off in the distance. I see more and more of the perennial gardens every day. Soon the tulips will be blooming.

You have always had the nicest gardens in Grand Bay Dutch Girl!
Thanks so much. I am really looking forward to seeing everything start to grow. I am splitting alot of perennials this spring and have promised some to longwood.
I just discovered this blog! I am so out of the loop! I planted seeds this spring Dutchgirl! You'd be so proud of me...except I planted them all in seed trays and now I can't tell the flowers from the giant pumpkins!! (I got a little excited and chose random seed packs...my cactus seeds have yet to come up though...). So they are getting ready to move from the trays to the pots and i am worried that I will have carrots in with the sunflowers!! I have used my gardening book several times though... i read the whole thing pretty much! Who knew that cactus heads could be re-attached???
