Another Year of University Completed

Emma arrived on Monday for a visit. She handed in her last paper that morning and then drove down....finished another year. We celebrated her birthday on Monday evening, she won't be here on the weekend for her actual birthday. Her car needed some work and the summer tires needed to be put on, this we managed to get done on Tuesday. Today was moving day for Brenna. Her last exam was Tuesday and she had to be out of residence within 24 hours. Paul drove up with the pick-up and Emma and I drove up with her car. We had lunch together and then wandered over to residence to see if we had room for everything on the truck. It rained cats and dogs here Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. We went prepared with tarps but half way to Fredericton the roads were practically dry and it didn't rain the whole time there. We managed to get everything on and in the truck and it's a good thing we had the tarps because it rained hard from Petersville Hill to home......but everything was dry. Brenna will be working at Worksafe this summer, the same place she worked last year. Emma is staying in Fredericton for the summer, doing classes at the university. She is still hoping to find part time work but no luck yet. She will be moving home in the fall to finish her last year at UNBSJ.
