The "To Do List"

Today was a very productive day. We spent the day completing Opa and Omas "To Do List". We managed to cross every item off the list:

Put the windmill out

Put up the gazebo

String lights in the gazebo

Put out the deck furniture

Put the BBQ on the deck

Put new cord on the flag pole and put up the flag

Weed and clean out the flower and shrub beds

Weed and mulch the bed along the front walk

Put out garden ornaments(shovel, bird bath, etc)

Put out solar lights.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day and the weather co-operated until we were finishing the last item, working with the METAL flag pole.....we could hear thunder in the distance (not the best place to be, under a flag pole :-) but by the time we packed it in and came in for supper, it had started to rain.

A day well spent.

Tonight Brenna gets in from Toronto and Paul will be picking her up in town.

Tomorrow we are attending Jacks graduation from STU.

The evening ended with a great game of cards.......Hearts!!!
