Sometimes it pays to be proactive rather than reactive. Last weekend while working outdoors, Paul decided to inspect the well. Everything is original to when we built the house, 26 years ago. The pipes at the top of the well casing were quite rusted and our neighbor is in the well drilling business, so we had him come over for a consult. He felt we could wait until it died on us but with 26 years of service that could be any time and with our luck it would be in the dead of winter. So on Friday we had a submersible pump put in, had the well casing brought above ground and a new tank put in........all I saw was $$$$$$$$$ signs. We have yet to refill the hole and I have to redo the flower bed. My plants are renting garden space at Longwoods.....thank goodness for friends, especially 'Over the Hill"

Nothing like a pitless well adaptor to make winter less stressfull...
You wanna watch that Psychic doesn't make off with those plants to Meadowlands!
Sorry we didn't venture over the hill this past weekend while visiting NB. Maximizing family and Cleo time. Managed to swim three days!
