Friday night we drove to Grand Falls after work. We stopped and visited with Brenna and had supper at a local pub, Dolan's, good food. She stayed behind beacuse she was running a low grade temp. and had a sore throat. She didn't want Opa and Oma to get sick. The locals in Grand Falls were busy harvesting potaoes and corn. The colors are much furthur ahead than us but give it another week or two and they will be breath taking.
Saturday I woke to a very heavy frost. I immediately grabbed the camera and took pictures of the spider webs on Mom and Dad's deck. While out there I could hear geese off in the distance and looked up to see two in the sky above me. Later in the morning we drove out to lakeside and there were many geese in the lake. Actually while there a flock flew in and joined the rest on the lake. We spent the afternoon winterizing the outdoors........cleaning up the pernnial beds, putting furniture away and the windmill, etc.
