Thanksgiving Sunday

We woke to a beautiful morning. It was on the cool side and we had frost overnight.....actually I think it was the first for this year. The girls spent part of the day doing school stuff, Paul and I went for a walk down to the post office and back.....I should have wore gloves, IT WAS COLD. Our friend and neighbor, Gerry, was out mowing his lawn, so we stopped and talked for a bit. Dark clouds started to roll in on our way back from our walk and by supper time we had a short heavy rain with thunder.
We had our thanksgiving supper today, we have to take Brenna back to university on Monday. This year we set one less plate at the table (Jack is in Windsor). I must say it was quite tasty and with an environmental touch, everything except the turkey was local....our carbon footprint was small. Brenna being the environmentalist was pleased. Hope everyone had a good day....HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
