Winter Cupcake

This is my birthday cupcake with sprinkles!!!!

Snow and MORE Snow

Mom and Dad, thought you might like to see how much snow we have.
Snow where the back steps should be.

The clothes line is behind there somewhere.

View from the baby barn.

The snow banks are almost too high to get the snow over with the snowblower.

Trip Home

Sunday morning we were up and out at 0650hr.(TO time)
and at Opa and Oma's at 1935hr.(Grand Falls time).
Paul had a craving for Janets pizza and this is all that's left from a 15 in. pizza.
He had some help from myself and Opa and Oma.
Today, Monday, we arrived back home, in Grand Bay at 1248hr.
We had a wonderful trip full of good food, good drink, great experiences
and wonderful time spent with family.

Lots of Hockey on Saturday

Saturday we attended Jonathan's hockey game.

Ready for the save. They won 6-2....I think.

Paul and Jack watching the game.

That evening, Paul and I took the subway down to the Air Canada Center to watch a hockey game:
Toronto Maple Leafs vs Ottawa Senators.

That evening the troops were honored. Season ticket holders were asked if they would give up their tickets so members of the forces could attend the game.
450 troops were in attendance.

Waiting for the game to start.

Because we were honoring the trooops the national anthem was sung by the crowd.

Let the game begin.

Niagara Escarpment

Today we spent the afternoon with Ken and Lori at a few winerys, the first time for Paul and I.

Glasses lined up for tasting.

Pauls arms can't hold much more.

Kitling Winery our first stop.....my favorite.
4 bottles of wine, one icewine brandy and 2 whiskeys later.

Fielding winery, 2 bottles of wine and one apron later.

We needed to eat after all that drinking.

Gretzky 99 winery....2 bottles of wine.

Tawse winery....3 bottles of wine.

Last stop and we picked up Niagara gold cheese and a dessert mango cheese.
What a great day. We need to come back some summer and make another day of winerys.
Thanks Ken and Lori for a great day.
