Today we went up to Calabogie where Anne and Sanj are going to start building their retirement home this summer. They will be living at 52 Majestic Way. Their property is on the Madawaska River.
Here they are standing where their great room will be.
Following lunch at Polly's Shanty in Calabogie we went snowshoeing on and around their property.
They are 1 of 9 lots on a private road and they share 20 acres for recreational purposes....ATVing, walking trails, snowshoeing trails.

St. Gabriels Roman Catholic Church, built by Edward McCrea, one of Springfields founding pioneers. It was blessed on Jan. 20th, 1854. It celebrated its last mass in 1952.
Anne had a chicken chili in the slow cooker for the day.
It was delicious.
