Saturday

Saturday was a busy day here. The girls had hair appointments and dentist appointments. When away at university that is what you sometimes have to do...take advantage of being home and getting the necessary appointments attended to. Paul and I worked in the yard, putting things away for the winter...garden things, deck furniture, one of the lawn mowers. It was an absolutely beautiful day....we always tend to have beautiful falls. I wandered around the property taking pictures. Above is the last of the summer flowers with fallen leaves.....summer meets fall.

Of course Brenna had her social functions to attend to. One of her friends turned 19 and had a "princess party". Everyone had to dress as a princess....Brenna didn't bring anything with her so she wore her prom dress: might as well get some use out of it. Paul, Emma and I had an evening at home playing cards and later watching hockey (no hockey for me....I read instead.)
