Work followed by R&R

Friday I was not booked to work so Paul took the day off as well. A co-worker of Pauls is clearing his lot and asked Paul if he wanted the wood. So earlier in the week we went out after work and collected approx. a cord of week, unsplit. On Friday we rented a wood splitter. It was certainly easier than having to split it all by hand. It was an absolutely beautiful fall day. After lunch we piled it and were done by 2:30pm.
That evening we went to the show "Passchendaele". I wasn't sure I wanted to see it but I knew Paul was anxiously awaiting its release. The theatre was 95% full. Once the movie finished people got up to leave ( no talking) and when the credits started to roll, people sat back down or those already up stopped in the aisles and watched. It finished with pictures and movie clips from WWI. Then people exited the theatre with little or no talking......I didn't expect that reaction.

Yes, I enjoyed it. Paul liked it as well but said it didn't have the "WOW" factor, yet he couldn't expalin what would make it "WOW". Now Paul Gross....WOW!
