Week in Grand Falls

This past week I spent with Mom and Dad. I drove up on the rainy Sunday, but the colors from Fredericton up were at their peak. The first couple of days I spent with Mom at the hospital in Perth. I had the opportunity to take in some of the local atmosphere. Mom wanted something sweet, so I went down to "Marys Bake Shop' and bought some moist, delicious molasses cookies and a date square for Mom. The next day I visited Jacqueline at the drug store and then made my way down the street to the "Flower Pot Shop." As I wandered through the shop I came upon some santa christmas ornaments and couldn't resist....I love santas at christmas. I also had the experience of eating at "Carls." As a kid I remember it as being an ice-cream place but now, it serves fast food and there are times in your life when you need that greasy taste only found in fast food........so I indulged!!!!!
