Saturday Road Trip

Belted Galloway cows on the drive back from Fredericton.

The Iguana

Mums at Scotts Nursery.

People lined up for samosas at the market.

On Saturday we left at 8:00am for the Boyce Farmers Market in Fredericton. We met up with Emma for breakfast. Emma had to be back for 11:00 and then Paul and I wandered the market. We brought back some cheese cake for supper and I bought cinnamon roasted almonds....you can't eat too many at once, a bit on the sweet side. We decided to come back through Gagetown...our stops included Scotts Nursery, where we saw the iguana, and Greigs Pottery. My cannister set is from Greigs. Actually Paul bought it for me for christmas 19 years ago. The owner, Flo, said she has been there 31 years. We also saw some belted galloways. I have only ever seen them in this area of the province. There were still pockets of color on the drive back but we are certainly past the peak colors. It was a great day.

I ate a samosa once. It burned a whole out through my left foot and the last time I checked it was somewhere near China. You need a stainless steel, blue vinyl, teflon g.i. tract to process one of those babies!
